Queens' M3 had got off to a great start, and coming into the Gut they were only 3/4 of a length down on the crew in front. However a beautiful EJECTOR CRAB by a certain JD Baxter (2) put paid to their efforts. Bugger.

Rescue of a Men's Novice 8 Rower ejected from the University of Rochester boat after a massive crab...this occurred during the Head of the Genesee on Sunday, Oct. 11. This poor stroke was ejected and started swimming for the shore after the current, wind & forward momentum moved his boat out of reach. He was quickly rescued by a sheriff's boat stationed nearby, which, after pulling him ashore, took off for the dock at full speed nearly swamping the boat in the process. Good job on the part ...
