Kings Cup Rowing - short compilation of the last 5 race finishes 2008 - 2012 Chris Noel · March 8, 2013 New South Wales had a narrow win in the 2008 Kings Cup by 0.21 seconds at SIRC Penrith after no more than 0.4 secs separated Vic and NSW during the whole race. In 2009 at Lake Barrington NSW had a convincing win from the outside lane ( just over 5 secs). At Nagambie in 2010 the NSW eight set a new course record of 5m 27.95 to win by 4 seconds. Westlakes Adelaide 2011 with a strong tailwind NSW again by about a length in a course record 5m 22sec and in 2012 at Champion Lakes Perth NSW came from behind at the 1000 to win by 2.5 seconds.
