2012 Outlook With the graduation of most of our varsity eight last year, we have gotten considerably younger. Despite their youth, this year's team has shown a maturity, and competitiveness that may overcome inexperience come spring time. The spring schedule is similar to last season. I look forward to the challenges our competition brings, and seeing the growth of this program continue.

2011 Outlook "This spring URI men's rowing hopes to capitalize on its new identity after a year of rebuilding and restructuring. We are looking forward for the opportunity to show our speed against familiar crews within New England and also hope to see some different crews at Dad Vails and ACRA's. This year has great promise for our program and the athletes along with the coaching staff are looking forward in seeing that promise executed."

2011 Outlook "We are excited for the 2011 Spring Season. We have put together the most competitive schedule in program history. Each year we are extremely focused on winning our Atlantic 10 Conference. The teams in the A-10 continue to gain speed and we have to prepare well and race hard to repeat our success from 2010. We are also racing 4 teams that went to NCAA's last year and another 4 teams that were ranked in the top 20. From the Northeast Region, we race: Brown, Dartmouth, Northeastern and BU. We also race out of region on three occasions. We are racing at Ohio State (including Indiana, Iowa, Louisville and Bucknell), at Cornell (including Dartmouth, Buffalo, Duke and Iowa). Our regular season ends with a race in Oak Ridge, TN - where we will face returning National Champions, Virginia - in addition to Clemson, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, UCF and Miami. We have outstanding senior leadership and we will continue to work hard to make sure this the strongest and deepest team in program history."
