2016 Outlook
"The team made great progressions this fall and as a result a number of athletes are on the brink of setting new team records. The younger athletes are integrating into the program well and making great contributions to the team’s momentum. Everyone is taking advantage of the opportunities provided in winter training to push the team’s speed. We are looking forward to seeing that speed on the race course this spring."

2014 Outlook
"We have a larger but young and less experienced varsity this year with a strong group of second year rowers. The novice class is small but showing good improvement. Erg scores are not quite as strong as last year but everyone is working hard with many PR'??s. Having two varsity 8â??s this year creates keen competition for 1V seats, pushing the team overall. The coldest/snowiest winter in MI in years is keeping us on the ergs longer than usual. We'??ll have solid fitness, the challenge is turning it into boat speed with minimal water time."
