"Last Spring we graduated some pretty solid oarsmen. This year I have asked my upperclassmen to step up and fill the gaps from last year and I have not been disappointed. Being my first year coaching this program, I have been very fortunate to have an excellent lightweight coaching staff riddled with National and Olympic Team experience, an exceptional parent and alumni base, and of course a group of athletes that believe in what we are trying to accomplish this year and the subsequent years to follow.

I hate to use the word underdog, but I believe this program has a lot of room for growth and every day I am reminded of the discipline and attitude my athletes exude in order to achieve my expectations of them.
