2013 Outlook
"Our team this year has been working hard and we have had fantastic training weather here in Clemson, SC. Our 1st 8 has a lot of veteran rowers and a senior coxswain, mixed in with a freshman that raced her way into a very competitive group. The 2nd 8 has made great progress this season and they push the 1st 8 every day in practice.
"Our 4’s group has been working hard, and many people have been fighting for the 5 seats in the 1st Varsity 4. The Novice program here has really taken off this year. We have a very competitive group of novices that are pushing the varsity to go faster on the ergs and on the water. Everyone on the team is looking forward to the 2013 Racing Season. Our race schedule has 9 teams from last years NCAA’s and we will face many challenges each week. The team is prepared and excited for our tough schedule."

2011 Outlook
"We are fortunate at Clemson to be able to host so many home races. We have fantastic facilities that draw great programs and our conference championship every year. This season is no different. To be the best we feel that it is important to race the best. We have set up a very challenging schedule, including a number of programs that competed at the NCAA championships last year. Racing programs from every region will help prepare us for our conference championship and the NCAA championships.
"We're excited about our freshman class this year. We have a number of great student athletes from all over the United States plus four new international student athletes from Italy, Hungary, Ireland and Peru. We feel that a number of our freshman are going to be able to compete for spots in our NCAA boats."

"The goals remain the same which is to improve each year physically, mentally and as a team. We have been fortunate to have recent success however we know that we still need to find more. One area which stands out this year is overall depth. Competition is fierce for seats and I believe this will ultimately enhance top end and overall team speed. We look forward to putting out our best at ACCs and hopefully returning to the NCAAs and improving upon a top 12 team finish.”
