Hot seating an entire eight from a solo... Imagine nine girls and nine boys walking gunwales from the coxswain seat while one of the rowers swims to the bow to replace the bow number. Actually the best part might have been the girls jumping three feet out over the bushes along the sea wall between PGRC and Sedgley to land on the launch five feet below, or the boys swimming from the launch to the sea wall near the viking because we couldn't take more than two people down Boathouse Row with the low water and non-dredged channel. Or maybe when the girls won the eight...
