I wasn’t able to go to spring training with my team, so one of my coxswains gave me this temporary tattoo to wear to make me feel like I was with my team as I stayed home and trained. This is my “I’m not gonna give up, I’m gonna make you proud” face.

Retro Start 'em Young

(March 17, 2012)
My mom saw today's photo of the day "Start 'em Young" and she loved it because that is exactly what she and my dad did many years ago. Here is a picture that she sent of another youngster carrying an oar. It's my brother Tom sometime in the mid to late 80's. Tom grew up strong and continues to carry his oars down to the dock everyday. Maybe those three kids will eventually be on the national team too?! Photo compliments of Lynne Graves.
