On Sunday Sept 4 a 4X (Dennis Sitek, bow; Brad Whiteford, 2; Dennis Wojdyla, 3 and Roman Lesnau, stroke) rowed the entire length of the Detroit River. The crew left the Detroit Boat Club dock, rowed upriver to Lake St. Clair (2.5 miles) then rowed downriver to Lake Erie finishing at the Ford Yacht Club in Grosse Ile, MI (24 miles). The top photo was taken with 3 miles remaining, the bottom photo is just after completing the 26.5 mile row in 2 hours and 58 minutes.
