December Row

(December 24, 2014)
This is my 8 year old daughter Lily, who took a break from sledding this Saturday morning in Upstate NY to go for a short row...without a wardrobe change. Note: No children or elite rowing shells were harmed in the making of this photo. The shell is a Little Sculling Boat (tough as nails), the girl is in a pfd, and the water in the creek is so shallow this time of year that she can't get her port blade under the water.

From one of our recent snowy morning rows in Lewisburg, PA. We had an amazing reflection on the water which, with the height of the snowy cliffs in the background, made for some great shots from the coaching launch.
