The ROWING Champions League welcomed the best European club and university eights on river Spree in the heart of Berlin. Berlin?s East Side Gallery and Mercedes Benz-Arena were a unique backdrop for this innovative race. A head-to-head elimination format over a 350-meter sprint distance and an urban venue made it possible to give the sport of rowing new impetus.

Wilmington Rowing Center, Wilmington Delaware - August 25th: Two Couples learned to row this year with our club: Karen & Shawn Walsh and Michelle and Kevin Canning. Both couples have a son and daughter that row with scholastic teams. Before the kids head back to school we did a combined family row!
