California, Cornell and Stanford Top USRowing’s Sixth Regular Season Coaches Poll

University of California continued to hold onto the top of USRowing’s sixth regular season varsity men’s eight poll, while Cornell University held the lead in the lightweight men’s varsity eight poll and Stanford University topped the lightweight women’s varsity eight poll.
California earned all 15 first-place votes to rank first in the varsity eight poll. University of Washington was second, while Yale University was third. Princeton University and Harvard University followed in the top five.
In the lightweight men’s varsity eight poll, Cornell scored 10 first-place votes to rank first and Columbia University earned one first-place vote and was second. Princeton followed in third; Yale and Harvard rounded out the top five.
Stanford continued to hold the top spot in the lightweight women’s varsity eight poll with all eight first-place votes, followed by Harvard-Radcliffe University in second and Boston University in third. University of Wisconsin and Princeton rounded out the top five.
