After the success of last year's inaugural coaches conference, the Association of Rowing Coaches of South Africa is pleased to announce the 2nd Africa Rowing Coaches Conference to be held in Johannesburg, South Africa from September 26 to 28, 2008.
The conference organizers are very pleased to announce the Guest Speaker for the event will be world-renowned coach Mike Spracklen, currently Head Coach of the Canadian Men's Rowing Team. Mike has guided many athletes and crews to Olympic and World Championship medals and most notably coached the Canadian Men's 8+ to Olympic victory in 1992 and the GB women's team to their first ever Olympic medal in 2000. Mike will speak on a variety of topics including the rowing technique of the Canadian Men's team, Ergometer technique and the Coach as a Leader.
The conference will be of interest to all coaches, athletes and for those with general interest in the sport. The conference will also host the 1st Annual Coaches Awards Dinner for South African Rowing.

R450.00 per person for all three days including snacks, lunches and gala dinner. Limited to 80 persons
