INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Thirty-seven high school athletes have been invited to the junior women's development camp June 22-27 at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn.
All athletes will be racing at the Independence Day Regatta in Philadelphia, Pa., June 28-July 1, as well as the USRowing National Championships in Camden, N.J., July 22-27. In addition, 11 rowers will be selected to represent the U.S. at the CANAMEX Regatta in Mexico City.
Coaches include Steve Hargis, director of rowing and head women's coach of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy; Bill Zack, UCLA assistant women's coach; and Liz Trond, Norwalk River Rowing Association's youth program director and girls' head coach.
