Rowing Canada Aviron is pleased to announce that the following athletes are named to Canada's 2011 Junior World Rowing Championship team. The 2011 World Rowing Junior Championships (http://www.wrjc2011.com) will be held in Eton, Great Britain, August 4 to 7, 2011 and serves as a test event for the 2012 Olympic rowing regatta.
"After a national selection process and recent time trials in Welland, Ontario, we are confident that this group of young athletes will represent the team and the country very well," said Chuck McDiarmid, Rowing Canada Aviron High Performance Development Coordinator.
Rowing Canada Aviron's team will depart for a training camp in Great Britain on July 24, 2011.
