Did you catch Sunday night's episode? A single sculler on the bucolic Passaic River, overhead shot from the Belleville Rt 7 bridge and the Kearney HS dock. A young ski instructor who never realized Dad was in the trash hauling business with the mob, learns a painful lesson in life from Paulie Walnuts as the single floats away from the dock. After 5 years of using the river as a backdrop for all kinds of other skullduggery (ouch!) it was only a matter of time before they incorporated this best use of the venerable Passaic.
Not sure who they used for the two rowing sequences, which were artfully done (maybe someone from Passaic River Rowing Coalition, who boat out of Kearney, as opposed to someone from Nereid-my club-3.5 miles north).
Let's hope the action depicted on the dock remains fictional!
All the best,
