We just got the HOSR photos posted, and are looking ahead to a heap of regatta coverage the next two weeks as well.  With two regattas in town, this coming weekend was to be Princeton's turn to show off some peak fall color for the camera sensors.

This is the Washington Men's Varsity 8+ celebrating their fourth consecutive IRA Regatta Championship.  The crew defeated Brown (silver) and Cal (bronze) after finishing second to  Cal in the semifinal at the first IRA to be contested at Mercer Lake.  more

Here's the best 'clash' photo from the 50th running of the Head Of The Charles this year.  This is between La Salle College HS on the left and Brunswick School Boat Club on the right.  The collision occured just after Anderson Bridge and resulted in a one minute penalty on Brunswick School.  more

In what has become something of a tradition the last several years at the NCAA Women's Rowing Championships, the winners of the DI team and/or Varsity 8+ title have had impromptu celebrations that included most of the team swimming out to greet the Varsity 8+ on the water.  more

Love this shot of the Pacific Rowing Club's Men's Youth 4+ following their win at Youth Nationals.  The crew defeated Belmont Hill for the gold medal and were quite excited after crossing the finish line!  more

I took this photo from across the lake in Amsterdam following the Croatian Men's Double setting the world's best time in the semifinal.  Martin and Valent Sinkovic raced to a time of 5:59.72, the first double to crack the six minute barrier.  The brothers would go on to win the A Final as well.  more

This shot is from rep one of the youth women's quad on Saturday during the USRowing Youth National Championships at Lake Natoma, CA.  This one is unique in that there are seven quads and all 56 oars are out of the water.    more

Andrew Campbell, the USA LM1x for the World Champs in Amsterdam, entered the regatta as one of the medal favorites following his second U23 title in the event the month prior.  He won his heat, then disaster struck in the quarterfinal when he clipped a bouy with his starboard oar and capsized into the Bosbaan.    more
