In this excerpt from Episode 12 of the Rowing Resource podcast, Lindsay and I discuss the financial realities of training at an elite, or even pre-elite level in the sport of rowing and how those realities limit who can pursue that level of competition. Lindsay (Meyer) Clarke is an American Sculler who won the World Championships in the u23 Quadruple Sculls in 2007 at the age of 18, and one year later placed 5th in the Quadruple Sculls in the Beijing Olympics. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Neuromotor Science at Temple University and coaches youth and masters athletes at Power of 3, LLC. in Philadelphia, PA.
