Celtic Challenge 2010 - St Michael's Rowing Club dunlaoghairerowing · July 17, 2010 In May 2010, 24 or our brave oarsmen and oarswomen representing Dun Laoghaire rowed across the Irish Sea from Ireland to Wales. Our 2 wooden skiffs, along with 14 (fibreglass!) boats made the 150km crossing from Arklow to Aberystwyth as part of the Biennial Celtic Challenge rowing race - www.celtic-challenge.org.uk/. Willy of our good neighbours at www.oceandivers.ie kindly skippered one of the support RIBs, and recorded and edited this video of the crossing.
