The National Rowing Foundation pledged $1,200,000 in 2014 to support our U.S. National Team Athletes' pursuit of gold at the Rio Olympics. To fulfill that pledge, the NRF still needs to collect $215,000 between now and December 31st.
Only you can help. Unlike the government funded programs in Great Britain, Germany, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and more, our athletes receive no funding from the federal government to represent the USA at the World Championships or Olympic Games. Instead, they rely on the generosity of individual Americans to achieve their dreams and ours of gold, silver and bronze medals at the 2016 Games.
Our athletes need the generous support of the U.S. rowing community: men, women, lightweights, heavyweights, past national team members and all those who are simply passionate about our sport.
You can make all the difference. Please support our U.S.A. athletes and make a tax free donation at the NRF website here; or by sending a check made out to the National Rowing Foundation to The NRF at 67 Mystic Road, North Stonington, CT 06359.
Every dollar counts: every gift, no matter the amount makes our team a little faster, a little more competitive, and a little closer to - or higher up - the medal stand. Go USA!
