2015 Outlook - "Early season assessment shows that the team is coming together quickly and aggressively after a Fall that showed some growing pains after losing so many impact players to graduation. The first-year class is particularly driven in its search for speed and desire to uphold the William Smith tradition. On the varsity, we have been making big gains every day with many of the returners suddenly emerging as great leaders in the spaces now vacated by last year’s seniors. We are very eager to take on the water once it thaws."

2014 Outlook - "The team has some good momentum after back to back medals at the Head of the Charles as well as back-to-back podium appearances at the NCAA Championship. We have a great core of returners and a vibrant, strong novice class. Our energy is very high—especially with the recent return of our athletes who were abroad—and we are committed to the entire program stepping forward. The athletes are embracing this challenge and I am very excited to see where their efforts put us."

2013 Outlook - "2012 was a great and special year—driven by the athletes, this team continually reaches for daily performances that are more excellent than the day before. We had our strongest finish ever at the HOC with several impact players abroad so we are anticipating more speed in the spring and a broadening of our depth. We are planning on being medal contenders at our Championship races and putting the work necessary to do so."

Fall racing showed consistent speed in our top two eights that placed us at the top of our region and we look forward to unleashing even more top-end speed as we re-integrate our abroad rowers and continue to develop our first-year class. Our spring schedule is loaded with great opportunities to maximize our potential and we are on track to do so."
