2025 Outlook - "With a strong upper-class group, 7 returning 1V athletes, and a solid 1st year class, we are excited for the Spring. We had an excellent fall, with a top 5 finish in the collegiate 4+ at the HOCR and Top 3 in the Varsity 8+ at Head of the Fish. Our team erg average has steadily improved and we plan on floating 2 full 8s and a 4+ this season."

Following the success at the Head of the Charles in the varsity 4+, excitement is high and athletes are take the next step this season!!"

2023 Outlook - "The Skidmore men will field 2 8+s this Spring season. While there is a lot to be determined, as many as 5 1st years could find themselves in the 1V this season. We'll have a challenging race schedule, with a trip to Ithaca on April 15th and hosting a 10 team race in April 22nd. The key to the season will be to stay internal and focus on boat speed, not results. If we continually get better, ultimately, we'll achieve our desired results."

2025 Outlook - "8 of the 9 return from last year’s 1V. The core of the boat has been together in the 1V since their freshman year. The women’s varsity 8+ finished 3rd at the Head of the Fish and we’ve continued to improve fitness over the winter. We’ll float two 8s and a 4+ this season and were excited to get back to racing."

2023 Finish
- Varsity 8 - 3rd at Skidmore Sprints, 2nd at Liberty, 3rd at NYS, 13th at NIRC
Returning Varsity 8+ Athletes - 6
2024 Seniors - 1
2024 Outlook - "Skidmore Women's Rowing will field three 8s this spring! 13 Athletes return from last year's 1V and 2V and another 14 join as 1st years/novices. The team is looking to challenge itself this spring season with a tough racing schedule: Skidmore Sprints, Knecht Cup, NYS Championships, Liberty Leagues, and NIRCs. While its tough to project the spring in February, we really like the technical, physical, and mental progressions we've made over the year and look forward to putting it all together!"

2022 Finish
- Varsity 8 - 3rd at Liberty, 16th at NIRC
Returning Varsity 8+ Athletes - 5
2023 Seniors - 3
2023 Outlook - "With exactly 16 athletes, Skidmore Women's Rowing will field 2 8+s this Spring. It's likely 3 1st years will join our 5 1V returners, while a 2V athlete will fill the last seat in the 1v. There are 6 more 1st years in the 2V, joining 3 2V returners. While we have a young team, the team has a significant core returning from last years successful Spring. We'll challenge ourselves with a difficult race schedule, with a trip to Ithaca April 15th and a 12 team race here on Fish Creek April 22nd. While our boat speed will be faster than last years, so will our strength of competition. Its critical we stay focus on being our fastest and not allowing set backs from moving us forward."

2022 Outlook - "Skidmore Women’s Rowing will field a 1st Varsity and 2nd Varsity 8+s this year. The team is a nice blend of experienced upperclass athletes with enthusiastic underclass athletes. Growth mindset will be critical for this squad; to take the early season lessons and apply them to later season racing. The team works hard and works for each other, so we have a chance to achieve some of our internal goals this year."
