2024 Outlook - "This team is all about spirit and camaraderie. With five rowers returning to the first eight, they are working hard to make this a championship season. With power and confidence, 5th year Taylor Volmrich will stroke the crew. Returning 7 seat, Laura Trainor will be in 6 or 7 depending on if the boat is rigged port or starboard. Other returners to the first boat are senior Erin Trojan, along with juniors Maggie Farber and Lily Babcock. The sophomore class came in hot this fall and it will be fun to see who emerges from that group to make the 1V. Similar to last year the entire group raced small boats this fall and their boat moving skills improved as a result."

2023 Outlook - "This team is very ready to get to racing and work hard this season to get back to the NCAA Championship. The Varsity 8+ will be stroked by Alli Arndt, a 2022 1st Team Pocock All-American. Coxswain Carlie Wohlfahrt will be moving from the 2V8+ into the 1V8+ this spring and she is both excited and ready to take on the role. Our top erg performer, Taylor Volmrich, will be found in the 5 or 6 seat this spring. They will bring a technical calm and power surge to the middle of the boat!
"There is a tremendous amount of depth in this team, and they just seem to love pushing each other to go faster. The entire returning group raced in small boats this fall and really learned how to make a boat move. It will be fun to take part in their journey!"

The team goal is a 20th selection to the NCAA championship, and an improvement from last year's results. A spring training trip to Georgia is on the schedule as well as three home races and larger regattas like the Knecht Cup, Liberty League Championship, New York States, and the National Invitational. It's not supposed to matter, but we would like nice weather too!"

The New York State Championship and the National Invitational Rowing Championship are end-of-season highlights. A March trip to Georgia is the early season highlight. 2024 Outlook - "Fall racing proved we are competitive with those in the LL. We have relatively young squad, made up of both recruited and walk-on student-athletes. The first years are helping to push the standard while following the leadership of the classes above them. It will take a full team effort to achieve the high goals set for the spring. It’s a great day to be a Bomber!"

2023 Outlook - "The team has high aspirations and are pleased with the progress made this past fall. They are looking to build on that during winter training and carry momentum into spring competition. We have a robust racing schedule, beginning with our opening weekend against defending national champs Williams (April 1st). The squad is looking forward to all opportunities to test our speed as we build towards the Liberty League Championship and NIRC with the hopes of earning a spot to compete at the IRA DIII Championships. It’s a great day to be a Bomber!"

2022 Outlook - "We're back on a full schedule plan; 3 home races plus trips to the Knecht Cup, NYS Championships, Liberty League Championships, and the NIRC. The athletes have learned a lot in the past two pandemic years. The oarsmen and women are survivors. Ithaca Crew is a great opportunity."

2021 Outlook - "A roster of 31 has been training this winter. Races are still on the schedule and the ability to host regattas creates more optimism. Ithaca's 52nd year of competition awaits. No positive tests on the team so far. The Bombers will keep the faith and prepare with hope."

Returning Varsity 8+ Athletes - 6
2020 Seniors - 6
2020 Outlook - "A larger roster has lead to improved depth and better results the last 12 months. Strong placings at the Head of the Genesee (1st), Charles (10th), and Schuylkill (4th) has boosted confidence in the V8. We will also race with a 2v8 and 3v8 this spring with the help of a strong walk-on group. We have three home races and road trips to Worcester (2x), New jersey, and Saratoga Springs on the slate. This is year 52 for Ithaca College Crew. No reason it can't be one of our best years!"
-Head Coach Dan Robinson

2019 Seniors - 1
2019 Outlook - "A little more experience and depth in our top two 8’s will help us. We should improve over last year, but we had so many close races last year…ya’ never know! Our destinations include spring training in Georgia, NYS regatta in Saratoga, and the NIRC in Worcester. We open at home on March 30. It’s closer than we think. We’re getting ready!"
-Head Coach Dan Robinson

- 2nd Varsity 8 - 2nd at NYS, 9th at NIRC
Returning Varsity 8+ Athletes - 4
2018 Seniors - 2
2018 Outlook - "New York State and National Invitational medals are the end goal and roster growth is the way for Ithaca's crews to get there. The roster is a bit larger than a year ago with as many as 6 freshmen and sophomores making the varsity crew. Fall results showed promise with a v8 medal at the Fish and Braxton Regattas. We have a good combination of recruited oarsmen mixing with novices. The winter scores are showing consistent improvement. The race schedule shows three home races and four challenging road-trips....Time to go!"
-Head Coach Dan Robinson
Head Coach - Dan Robinson, 30th year
2016 Finish
- Varsity 8 - 1st at John Hunter, 3rd at NYS, 11th at NIRC
- 2nd Varsity 8 - 3rd at NYS, 10th at NIRC
- Novice 4 - 3rd at NYS
Returning Varsity 8+ Athletes - 4
2017 Seniors - 5
2017 Outlook - "Ithaca will have a young roster that features over 50% freshmen. Several will row in the varsity 8. Fall 2016 Varsity 8 highlights included a medal at the Head of the Genesee, top half at the Charles (thus qualifying for fall 2017), and a win at the Philadelphia Frostbite. New facilities and a Strength Coach are buoying the program. The 2017 spring schedule includes a spring trip, 4 home races, 4 road trips, and hopefully many memorable finishes. Winter training is underway with the principle goals being success at the New York State Collegiate Regatta and the National Invitational Rowing Championship."
