Conditions: Fully buoyed course. Floating starts. Challenging cross-headwind, wind 5-10 or more, 2-6" chop building to whitecaps by the end of racing. Many races started ~10-20m past the start line to avoid tangling in start buoys.
Comments: Order of racing Open 4, Varsity 4, Varsity 8 (Puget Sound win), Varsity 8 (Humboldt win), 2V8 (Portland win). Racing cancelled after the first 2V8 Race, second 2V8 race was started in rapidly worsening conditions but only Lewis & Clark finished, Puget Sound off the course, Pacific Lutheran swamped.
