Distance: 1500m
Conditions: Presence of strong steady crosswind throughout the day. There were moments of strong gusts on the water, and the crosswind was felt most consistently in the middle 500. However, due to the narrow, protected nature of Noxontown Pond, crews were able to get in clean starts and a strong day of racing.
Comments: Thanks to the coxswains and their work navigating the wind today. There was an also a JV 4 race in which VJM went 6:09.3 and Montclair went 6:18.8. Thank you to all crews for their efforts, sportsmanship, and speed on Noxontown Pond today; and thank you to the great work done by coaches and parents on both sides of the pond.
