HS/Scholastic
Kent School (Boys) vs. Salisbury & St. John's
May 19, 2007 - Salisbury, CT
Submitted by Garrison Smith
Distance: 1500 m
Conditions: Strong tailwind creating good chop throughout the day. Wind was variable in terms of intensity, but steady.
Comments: In the fourth boat race the Kent 7 man caught a boat stopping over the head crab with about 600 meters to go. The whole boat stopped rowing and the shell was turned to about a 45 degree angle to the course. They righted themselves and kept going well behind the rest of the field.
