Here's a shot I took when I was down under two years ago. I was walking along the Yarra River in Melbourne when a youth 8+ rowed by, a little while later a single came down the river. I snapped a shot with the 8+ in the middle of the river going around the bend and the single on the right side, with the skyscrapers of Melbourne in the backdrop.
Rutgers Dock Seal

This little guy jumped up onto our dock today at around noon and spent the day sunbathing and watching us come and go from the dock. The picture was taken from the Class of 1914 Boathouse at Rutgers in New Brunswick.

"Dawn Treaders" ; FISHER KING ( ex. UofW) a 1989 Pocock 8+ from the Olympic Peninsula Rowing Association ( part of the Clallam County Family YMCA) in Port Angeles Harbor at dawn on August 7, 2009. What makes it more interesting is the crew is all one family, John Halberg ( UofW 1958) and his family. His wife is coxswain and John is pulling stroke oar with sons and daughters/daughters-in-law filling the boat as follows:

From the Canadian Nationals Masters regatta at Elk Lake, British Columbia last weekend.
It shows Aerial Gilbert, who is blind, racing the single. She was kept on course by Bethanne Kronick, in the launch using the megaphone to yell port-starboard steering commands.
