The Rowing Place which is a Cross Training Rowing Gym in Cincinnati, OH organized four teams of 3 persons. Each team rowed as hard as they could during 90 minutes to raise money for the FOCAS Ministries in Haiti. The total amount of money raised was $ 1,527.46 and we are still expecting more people to match some of the teams efforts. Attached some pictures!! The Don Rowing Club of Mississauga, Ontario, drove nearly 1,500 miles to the White Rock Boathouse in Dallas, Texas, for a warm weather respite from their frozen home river, only to be greeted by a foot of snow (and Koko, WRBH's Boathouse Dog). Our Canadian friends had the misfortune to visit during the largest single-day snowfall in Dallas history. Koko (whom one DRC rower called a "gigantic beaver") demonstrated that snow and cold is no excuse not to dive into your workout.
