Maybe this is a century too late for the Picture of the Day, but it's charming nonetheless. It's a shot of a couple of young kids getting ready to go rowing from a boathouse on Sculler's Row on the Harlem River -- in 1902.

The CU Frosh pic is taken in Florida last week. The pic is upside down but the water was so flat that it makes an interesting illusion. There are a few peculiar reflections and the guys appear to be rowing on the wrong side.
