Washington and Stanford Take Top Spots in Season’s First USRowing Collegiate Polls
April 3, 2013
Washington received 11 of 12 first-place votes to take the top spot in the men’s varsity eight poll. Brown University ranked second, followed by California, Harvard and Princeton. Harvard received the other first-place vote.
Stanford earned the No. 1 spot in the lightweight women’s eight poll, receiving five of seven first-place votes. Harvard-Radcliffe received the other two first-place votes and ranked second. Princeton, Bucknell and Georgetown rounded out the top five.
