California, Cornell and Stanford Top USRowing Collegiate Poll

California took over the top spot in the men’s varsity eight, earning nine first-place votes, with the University of Washington at No. 2 with five first-place votes. Harvard University slipped into third place with two first-place votes. Princeton University and Yale University once again rounded out the top five.
Cornell secured 11 first-place votes to move into first place in the lightweight men’s eight poll, while Columbia University held its No. 2 ranking. Yale University slipped back to No. 3, earning one first-place vote. Harvard University and Princeton University once again rounded out the top five.
Stanford continued to lead the lightweight women’s eight poll with five first-place votes. Harvard-Radcliffe University earned the No. 2 spot with four first-place votes, and Princeton University followed in the No. 3 spot. Boston University held its fourth-place ranking, while the University of Wisconsin edged past Bucknell University into the top five in this week’s poll.
