PRINCETON, N.J. USRowing is pleased to announce that 20 athletes have been accepted to the 2013 Men's Under 23 National Team Selection Camp in Providence, R.I., and Princeton, N.J.
The camp will select the men's eight and four crews that will compete at the World Rowing Under 23 Championships July 24-28 in Linz, Austria. In addition, the camp may select the men's four with coxswain will compete at the USRowing Under 23 National Team Trials June 23-26 in West Windsor, N.J. A full team roster will be named by July 10.
The camp, to be held at Brown University's Marston Boathouse, will be coached by Paul Cooke, Brown University Men's Crew Head Coach, and Matt Smith, Cornell University Associate Head Coach.
The U.S. won three medals at the 2012 World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Trakai, Lithuania, including gold in the men's and women's eights and silver in the men's four with coxswain.
