Rebecca Chin, Karen Bennett, Lucinda Gooderham and Holly Norton have been called up to the GB Rowing Team for the World Championships, starting in France later this month, to race a womens four.
Chin, Bennet and Gooderham already have senior world cup experience whilst Norton, who has been studying in the USA, steps up from the GB 2015 World U23 team, having won silver in the women's pair last month.
Chin and Bennett raced the women's pair at two world cups this season, finishing 10th overall at both. The duo also won two golds in the pair at the Essen Regatta. They raced in the 2014 GB World University women's four who took gold.
Gooderham and Chin were finalists in the women's pair at the GB Rowing Team Senior Trials back in April of this year.
The quartet, coached by Jane Hall, have been training together with the senior squad at their European bases in the past five weeks.
Great Britain's entry for the Championships, taking place in Aiguebelette from 20 August - 6 September and which are also an Olympic and Paralympic qualifying regatta, now stands at 24 boats including 71 rowers (28 women and 43 men) plus four reserves.
