Florijn celebrates world championship

Karolien Florijn of The Netherlands won the final of the women's single at the World Championships in Racice, CZE. She defeated Emma Twigg of New Zealand and Tara Rigney of Australia (both pictured here as well). It was Florijn's first season in the single after winning Olympic silver the previous year in the women's four. Florijn went unbeaten for 2k in 2022, winning World Cup I, World Cup II, the European Championships, and the World Championship.
