The Navy women's novice eight collided with the finish line launch at the Rivanna Romp last month and completely penetrated the pontoon of the launch.  You can see the bow end sticking out of the far side in the attached image.  The bow was wedged so deeply that three launches could not pull it out, so the bow had to be broken off.  Check out the full gallery starting here.
