Responsibilities for Program Leaders:
Supporting camp operations and logistics (moving campers between locations, room checks, running warm-ups, helping boats launch and dock, etc.)
Running large group activities and small group reflective discussions
Helping build community amongst campers and staff
Supporting campers and fellow staff
Program Leaders are required to arrive at camp the day before each camp begins by 9am for staff training
There is the opportunity to coach our Learn to Row cohort, but the Program Leader role is not a coaching position
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
21 years old or older
Bachelor’s Degree
Teaching or coaching experience on the junior or collegiate level
Medical Training (CPR/First Aid)
A background and/or understanding of the field of experiential education
An interest in programmatic culture, coaching pedagogy, and/or general education
Psycho-social skills, self-awareness, authenticity, and kind-heartedness
Able to easily travel to camp locations (we are unable to cover travel to and between camps)
Compensation/Benefits
$800 stipend per camp
Lodging and food are covered during camp
Opportunity to ride in launches with coaching staff
Opportunity to move from working US based camps to international programs
