Distance: 1,500 meters
Wind: Strong cross wind 15-20 mph increasing through morning
Water: rough at the beginning increasing to unrowable by the end
Current: strong head current
Comments: Scrimmage was run as 4 1,500 meter pieces. The 1V8 and 2V8's all raced together. The first two pieces were from a floating start at the 500 meter mark on the course. The third and fourth pieces were rolling into from close to the 500 meter mark (as soon as all boats were even).
The Clemson 2V8+ had to restart twice in the first 200 meters of the first pieces as the 2 Georgetown boats on either side of her pinched her out. She restarted the second time and rowed from lane 4 (original lane) to lane 2 to avoid hitting Georgetown.
Georgetown's 2V8 only rowed the first two pieces.
The wind became increasing throughout the day and became unrowable after the 4th piece.
