Comments: Race distance was shortened due to low water conditions. At approximately 1200 meters into the race, Tulsa's skeg dragged on a sand bar for about 10 strokes. At that time SMU was up 6 seats and both coaches felt that while the margin was affected, the outcome of the race was not.
