Distance: 1500 Wind: strong head winds Water: flat Current: extremely strong current Comments: Extremely challenging conditions forced regatta officials to switch the course and race upriver against the current and wind, instead of downriver as usual. Because of this, there were nho stakeboats, so all starts were floating starts, and the course was limited to only 1500. In the women's 2nd varsity eight GW caught an overhead crab in the first 5 strokes which dropped them far from behind.
