NEWMAC Champs
Submitted by: Beyer
(May 2, 2024)
My team, the Smith College rowing team, won the Division 3 NEWMAC Championship for the first time in 14 years, getting us the automatic qualifier for NCAAs (for the first time in 14 years.) This was an incredible moment for our team, as we also won the team points trophy and came first in the 2v, 3v, and 4v events and second in the 1v. This was about more than the 1v and 2v's collective points getting us the AQ, it was about the full team performance and joy of racing.
