The six remaining US camp crews that had not met the qualifying time standards took advantage of a following West wind in central New Jersey on Tuesday morning to earn the final spots on the US squad for the 2005 World Rowing Championships in Gifu, Japan. For the first time in recent memory, several crew members will be doubling up; Lind and Shoop from the women's eight will also row the open pair, and the men's four is doubling into the men's eight. The team leaves for Japan on August 20; row2k hopes to do our annual grueling photography collection of as many crews as possible before then.
