KNOWING WHEN TO RETIRE | A Conversation with Olympic Sculler Lindsay (Meyer) Clarke Travis Gardner · May 19, 2020 For every competitive athlete, there is a time to move on and shift your focus to other pursuits. It is hard to distinguish this natural evolution from the idea of quitting. In this video, Lindsay and I discuss each of our experiences with making that transition.
Lindsay (Meyer) Clarke is an American Sculler who won the World Championships in the u23 Quadruple Sculls in 2007 at the age of 18, and one year later placed 5th in the Quadruple Sculls in the Beijing Olympics. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Neuromotor Science at Temple University and coaches youth and masters athletes at Power of 3, LLC. in Philadelphia, PA.
