2013 Outlook - “This year's graduating class is excited to have a terrific final season, but the younger guys aren't going to be left out of the fun. A strong class of 2015 made their presence known in the fall, with 4 of them bringing home Charles gold. It’s a special year for Coach Shuler and myself as well, as this is our “first crop” from when we took over in Fall 2009.
"The 2011 1st years have picked right up with the varsity and are a powerful addition to the boathouse. A solid summer training regiment and an emphatic focus on technical improvement (sculling!) combined to produce a fantastic fall for us and a great platform heading into the spring season.
"The racing season is scheduled to have great scrimmaging alongside larger regattas like Murphy Cup and the George Washington Invitational, to which we are thrilled to be returning. Ultimately our sights are set on our two national championship regattas, Dad Vail's and ACRA's, as well as our trip to the Henley Royal Regatta. We will be stopping by at the Greifensee Regatta in Zurich, Switzerland as a tune up on our way to the Thames. The athletes have set high expectations for themselves and we challenge them everyday to help them reach new heights.”
