2025 Outlook - "After three years in the petite finals at nationals, the Varsity 8+ made its long sought-after return to the Grand Finals this past fall. The team also broke into the top-3 in the overall banner standings at the OUA Championships. The training atmosphere in the men's group this winter has been very positive as they push for more speed. As is typical of our spring season, the heavyweight and lightweight teams will be combining into a single men's squad in preparation for the Toronto-McGill Boat Race in May. Competition for seats in the Blue Boat that will look to avenge last year's loss to McGill and reclaim the Barber Pole should prepare the guys well for summer, and ultimately the fall 2025 university circuit. Go Blues!"

2025 Outlook - "The group has been having a good and productive winter thus far. The Open and Lightweight teams have now combined into a single women's squad in preparation for The Challenge against McGill in May. Competition for seats in the Blue Boat that will look to extend our winning streak against the Martlets should prepare us well for summer and ultimately the fall 2025 university circuit. Excited to see what these athletes can do. Go Blues!"

2024 Outlook - "After a long process of rebuilding, the Toronto lightweight men were finally up to full roster strength this past year. The squad is young, eager and pushing for improvements this winter. With seats in the varsity eight at the Toronto-McGill Boat Race open to both heavies and lightweights, it should be a good spring of competition for those seats, all of which will hopefully set us up for a successful race in May and improved results in the fall 2024 sprint season. Row Blues!"

2025 Outlook - "The Varsity Blues lightweight women's group was the largest we have had in some time. This new mix of young talent and returning veterans performed well in our fall championship season. As is typical for our spring season, the lightweight and open women will now be combining into a single squad in preparation for the Toronto-McGill Boat Race in May. Competition for seats in the Blue Boat that will try for a 3-peat win against the Martlets in Montreal should prepare these women well for the summer, and ultimately the fall 2025 university lightweight circuit. Go Blues!"
