We return a large core of our successful 1V and 2V rowers from last spring and the improvement of the underclassmen has been impressive. The vibe is good and the team is looking forward to racing. 2011 Outlook - "Saint Mary's Rowing is looking forward to the 2011 racing season. This is the largest squad I have had, and it's been great to see the team evolve from year to year. We have great senior leaders and strong, developing underclassmen. The vibe is good. We start scrimmaging in late February with Davis, Cal, and Mills, then race at the Sacramento Invitational, Pac-10 Women's Challenge, San Diego Crew Classic, Norcal/Socal Showdown, WCCs, WIRAs, and PCRC Championships. Go Gaels!"

2010 Outlook - "The outlook is good and the Gaels are looking forward to racing. We have a great group this year that are making some big strides from week to week. The year begins with scrimmages against Cal, Mills, and UC-Davis then we head to the Sacramento Invitational for some early spring racing. The San Diego Crew Classic will be a test of our speed as we face 20 other crews from around the country and look to improve on our 5th place finish from 2009. In April we will race a number of familiar faces from the WCC and WIRA before heading into conference championships. Go Gaels!"
