2022 Outlook - "I am very excited by the resilience of this team. The team had a strong Fall season and we are looking to continue to build on those results. We are returning the entire 2V8+ that captured the WCC Championship last year. Our Spring racing season will be fun and fast!"

2020 Outlook - "This year is about putting in hard work and seeing it pay off. We have a competitive racing season ahead of us that will be demanding, but allow us to capitalize on the work we've been putting in. We have great leadership from our 7 seniors that have helped guide our strong incoming freshmen class. We are also excited to have Dave Cormier as a new assistant on staff, his great technical coaching and coxswain leadership has made a big impact in his short time here."

2018 Outlook - "This year is about setting the standard, building the foundation, and taking ownership of the program. The team is looking to meet it's potential on the course this year and set the bar higher for future growth. The athletes have all stepped up realizing that each one matters and this bodes well for all the goals above. As for races, we have quite a few new match ups this season seeing crews from all over the country. It's going to be fun and hard."

2013 Outlook - "We are looking forward to our West Coast Conference Championship in on May 18th. Particularly this year, as the NCAA bid goes into effect and the winner goes to the NCAA championship. Its an amazing opportunity for our athletes and they have been working exceptionally hard all year towards this goal"

2010 Outlook - "The Toreros are led by a strong upperclassmen group, 7 of them returning from the varsity 8, who are supported by a very determined freshman class. All members of the squad are driven to take the program to the next level while excelling in the classroom and supporting their community. The team will be facing new competition this year while competing in the Oklahoma invitational. They will later be returning to their home course at the San Diego Crew Classic, striving for a win in the Cal Cup . As the season continues, the team will be preparing for a top finish at the West Coast Conference Championship and the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship."

2022 Outlook - "Our team has a lot of young, fresh races this year; our final fall race's 1V8+ featured 6 members of the crew who were either freshmen or sophomores. Thankfully, there is some quality talent in the group, and we have seen the guys that have embraced the training load really take huge steps forward this year. Most of all, we are grateful for the opportunity to train together consistently given the challenges of the past two years."

2020 Outlook - "The University of San Diego' Men's Rowing Team is a fully supported, division 1 rowing program. We will kick off our racing season against Oregon State at the Lake Las Vegas Invitational, then travel up to Los Angeles to race UCLA and LMU. Our next race will be the city championship where USD, UCSD, and SDSU will race to claim the title of city champion. Two weeks later we race at the San Diego Crew Classic, then WIRA and then Western Sprints. The goal will be to place top 2 at the Western Sprints up in Sacramento to qualify for the IRA National Championship. The program is in a great place to take strides this season and as we move forward in years to come."
