2020 Outlook - "It took time for the team to adjust to a coach again, but they picked it up at the end of the season with their historic finish. I fully expect the strongest season in the history of University of Maryland, hopefully culminating with podium appearances at MARCCs."

2017 Outlook - "While our V8 is lacking this spring due to a large senior class graduating, the team's future looks bright as a promising novice class has gotten off to a quick start. Only losing to two SJU boats at Head of the Occoquan, the freshman have only improved both on the water and on the ergs. Paddling the last couple hundred meters to save themselves for the N4 race they would be racing in later that day, the N8 easily took an Occoquan Sprints gold. Their next sights are set on the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference Championships as Bucknell is the only true competitor standing between the Maryland N8 and a MARCs gold."
