2017 Outlook - "This year, we have a core group of upperclassmen lead an eager group of freshmen, pushing each other from both directions and ultimately raising the bar for the program. The women continue to take steps forward, while redefining our culture and building on the momentum from previous years. The spring season opens with scrimmages against the University of Dayton and MSOE before we travel to Lubbers Cup in Michigan. The Illinois Collegiate Rowing Invitational and MACRA are next on the schedule, where we see formidable competition that will prepare us for our championship races - Dad Vail and ACRA. We are looking forward to another exciting spring!"

2016 Outlook - "This has been an exciting year for Marquette Crew. After moving to our new location in the fall, the team has welcomed new opportunities and challenges that have contributed to our program's overall growth. The women's team has a committed group of upperclassmen that have stepped up as true leaders, and a class of hungry novice that are pushing to make their own mark on the program. Our spring schedule is the strongest it has ever been. The season opens with a first-time invitation to Lubbers Cup, followed by trips to the Illinois Collegiate Rowing Invitational and MACRA, where we will see formidable competition that will prepare us for our championship races. In May, we will return to Philadelphia once again for the Dad Vail, and then head south to Lake Lanier for our second trip to the ACRA National Championship with the goal of building on last year's successes. We are looking forward to getting our spring campaign underway!"

2015 Outlook - "Coming off a solid fall season, the women's team this winter has continued to make gains in fitness and technique, leading to increased overall speed. With the entire Varsity 8 returning, a strong group of sophomores stepping up, and a large and aggressive novice class, the women's team has a depth we have not seen in years. Our spring schedule, which kicks off with the Illinois Invitational and MACRA, will be sure to test our crew and prepare us for our championship races in May. Our championship races will include our return to the Dad Vail, as well as the first women's boats in Marquette's history to make the trip to ACRA. We look forward to the snow melting and the thrill of spring racing!"

2015 Outlook - "We have a tough road ahead of us. The competition these young men face is very strong, and typically more experienced. With a Varsity Men's team consisting of mostly Sophomores, we recognize that in order to succeed they have to put in extra effort each and every day in order to bring the team up to the level of competition that surrounds us. Closing out the fall with some success and some hard losses in Novice and Varsity races, we all went into the long winter fired up, wanting more. Having a young team is also very exciting. The team will become what they make of it. Marquette Men's Crew will be remolded into whatever these guys decide they truly want. From where I'm standing - they want gold. Winter season gets long in the north, but each day they show up ready to exceed prior marks and set new, higher, expectations. They're putting in the work. I can't wait to see it pay off. Spring racing can't come soon enough!"
