At the end of this fall season, we completed a 2-year project to fully renovate our historic boathouse. A lot of time and energy were spent making this great facility possible. The senior and junior classes, while small in numbers, have been here and witnessed the growth of the program the past few years. They are doing a great job sharing their experience with the younger members of the team and helping them to understand the amount of work needed to be successful at this level. The energy and enthusiasm that this group brings daily has been great. It will be exciting to test ourselves against some of the best this spring once we get back on the water."

2013 Outlook - "We have a very talented and ambitious group of freshman, who are strong and highly coachable. The upperclassmen continue to be leaders in the weight room and on the ergs, and I am looking forward to seeing how we can develop their speed as winter training progresses and we set our sights on spring break. The ultimate goal is to gain the automatic team bid from the MARC to the NCAA's for 2013. This is an important year, as it is the first time the MARC will serve as an automatic qualifier for the Championship. The women worked hard in the off-season, and came back to campus in January in better shape any previous year. They understand the importance of our team motto of O.A.R.S. (Ownership, Accountability, Responsibility, and Self-Integrity), and work to apply it to all that they do on and off the water."
-Head Coach Kelly Harris

The goal remains to retain the title at the MARC as well as the Dad Vail, with a possible team bid to the NCAA's for the first time in program history."
