2022 Outlook - "Last spring our team ran into Covid and Covid protocols at the worst time, not allowing our team to perform in the most critical part of the season. We understand firsthand how challenging the spring will be but are determined to perform at our best. We have jam packed our spring racing schedule to not only give our young rowers racing experience but to help fill the gaps in racing opportunities for our upperclassmen due to Covid. There is overall a renewed energy and excitement in Lawrence that has come with new additions to the coaching staff, wins in recruiting and team records falling."

The rowing on the water has gotten sharper and more powerful. After a strong fall, we’re excited for the spring racing season, which now includes a sweep east in late April to match up against Princeton and several other ranked crews as we firm up our speed heading into the Big 12 Championships, which are becoming an increasingly competitive conference regatta."

2015 Outlook - "Our team at Kansas is young this year, but we made large improvements during the fall and winter training which will show in the spring. We have more home races this season than we have had in a few years so that will be a change and also have opportunities to race different teams, such as our Big 10/ Big 12 dual with Iowa, Wisconsin and Oklahoma. We are looking forward to a challenging, but promising spring season!"
